# Logs
Logs provides plain, chronological display of colored logs.
The *Logs* tab displays a chronological list view of your log lines. PacketAI stores each log line as a JSON record and displays each JSON property as a grid column. The Logs UI is pretty simple, yet powerful, and enables full customization of the number, order and name of columns.
## Organizing columns
The UI lets you seamlessly show/hide column as well as modify column order.
* Clicking on the "*X columns hidden*" button brings up a menu from which you can show/hide column using a simple click. You can also re-arrange column order by drag-and-dropping properties

* Clicking on any top column header lets you hide and move a column left or right. Please check the [Filtering logs](/packetai-autonomous-it-monitoring/log-management/filtering-logs.md#custom-filters) section for more information about the *Build Filter* item menu.
